It’s been a long time coming, but your patience has been rewarded, my villainous brethren. We’re very pleased to announce that Issue #7: Destiny Manifest has been released to the Live servers and is available now. The latest free update to City of Heroes and City of Villains, Issue #7 adds many new features for villains, including two new zones, new Power Sets, Level 40-50 content featuring over 300 new missions, Patrons, Mayhem Missions and more. To celebrate the release of Issue #7, we will be reactivating all innactive City of Heroes and Villains game accounts for the next five days, allowing all our former players to try Issue #7 for themselves - for free!

Emails will be sent shortly with full details of this exclusive reactivation offer, but we are only able to send these mails to those players who have chosen to accept them on their PlayNC Master Account.

If you want to hear about this and any future offers from NCsoft, be sure you sign up to receive emails from us by logging into your Master Account at PlayNC. If you haven’t logged in for a while, you’ll probably see a pop-up window that lets you accept emails. If no pop-up appears, check the ‘Contact Info’ section of your PlayNC Account Management page. If it says ‘Not signed up to receive newsletters, beta announcements, game trials or exclusive offers by email’, click on the ‘Edit Contact Info’ link, check the box at the bottom-right, and click ‘Accept’.

In the meantime, if you know anyone who used to play City of Heroes or Villains, be sure to let them know that they’ll be able to log on and play any time between now and early Sunday morning (11 June) - and encourage them to sign up for future announcements via their PlayNC Master Account!
