At this first reward level, players unlock the ability to use Trenchcoats on all of their characters, new and existing. We also give all characters a single Costume Change token to take care of the cost of changing their outfit.

Here players unlock the ability to have Greek Alphabet chest details on all of their characters, new and existing. Again, all characters will gain a Costume Change token to take care of the cost of adding these to their costumes.

• Costume Piece: Belly Shirt for Females, Scottish Kilts for Males
• Respec given to all existing characters on account
• Costume Change Token given to all characters on account

At this point players receive the first Respec for all their characters. This respec is separate from the In-Game respecs and the “Freespecs” given out during special events. This respec is given to all existing characters, simply for having an active account for nine months or more.

As with respecs earned through the respec Trial, Veteran Reward respecs can be used by visiting the appropriate character - Jack Wolfe in Galaxy City for heroes, or Arbiter Lupin in Nerva Archipelago for villains.

This reward level also gives offers Male and Huge models the oft-requested “Scottish Kilt” costume option (complete with sporran). Females receive tight fitting “Belly shirts” to show off their well-toned midriffs in battle. Once again, this includes a Costume Change token for all characters to cover the costs of alterations at the Tailor.

When City of Heroes launched, there were several “pre-order” bonuses that players could obtain, but each player was limited to one of these “special sprint” powers on their account. Now, with the Veteran Rewards program, we give these bonuses to all players after one year of subscription.

In addition, players are rewarded with several new Base Items including wall and floor mounted racks of weapons that are seen in the game like Arachnos maces and Circle of Thorn swords.

Finally we have the first of our Choice rewards. Each of the characters on player accounts with twelve or more months will receive the option of having a version of the Undead Slaying Axe or the Sands of Mu that does not expire. Each character can pick a different one, but only one is available per character, so make sure to choose wisely!

This reward level brings players wings! Feathered and Demon style wings are available for new and existing characters on each eligible account. In addition, a Costume Change token is given to each character, so they can modify one of their costumes free of charge to add this costume piece to it.

Wings are a ‘Back Slot’ option, and thus do not combine with other Back items like capes and trenchcoats. They animate when flying or falling, and can be tinted with two colors to match the rest of the costume. They are available to all characters on a qualifying account, regardless of their actual level. Yes, players can make a level 1 character with wings!

• Costume Piece: Samurai Armor

A year and a half, good work!

The eighteen month reward is a full costume ‘set’ of Samurai armour. This includes the helm, shoulder, chest, arms, gloves, legs, and boots, all done in classic Samurai fashion. Characters can add a single piece, a couple pieces, or all the Samurai pieces to their characters with a free Costume Change token that is also given at this reward level.

Another respec is available at this level. Like the 9 month respec, players can claim this from the Veteran Reward menu at any time. This respec stacks with the In-Game and ‘Freespec’ respecs given out during special events.

We also bring to characters the Shoulder Cape. The Shoulder Cape is a unique look suitable for many characters. Again, a Costume Change token is available for all characters, so players can alter a costume free of charge to add this stylish cape to it.

Two solid years of heroism and villainy!

More items for Bases are available at this level. Now players get a selection of the City of Heroes comic-book covers that they can add to their base as small and large posters. Players can select this reward an unlimited number of times.

A new power is also granted at this reward level - the Emergency Base Teleporter. Now players can access their Supergroup’s base from anywhere in the world. This power has a long, interruptible cast time so players won’t be pulling it off in combat, but makes up for this by granting extremely convenient access to your base from anywhere.

Level 15 characters will also have a whole new set of titles that they can add to their character name. Simply visit any Trainer and check out the new titles that are available.

• Costume Piece: Anime-style tech armour
• Costume Change Token given to all characters on account

A full costume set of anime-inspired technological armour pieces is available at this level. Heroes and villains can get a whole new unique look to their characters with this costume set, and we are even including a Costume Change token so that they can take advantage of the new set without impacting their Influence or Infamy. Like other costume rewards, this set is available for all characters on the account, present and future, so if the costume inspires players, they can make a level 1 character with the new costume pieces right out of the gate.

• Base Items: Hero: Scirocco’s Sword, Ghost Widow’s Cape, Black Scorpion’s Armor, Captain Mako’s Tooth, Lord Recluse’s Helm, Hamidon Goo. Villain: Positron’s Helmet, Synapse’s Goggles, Numina’s Cape, Sister Psyche’s Belt, Citadel’s Brain, Manticore’s Bow, Statesman’s Faceplate.

This reward level incorporates some back story elements from the City of Heroes and City of Villains games and ties them in to character costumes and supergroup bases. First included are new chest emblems from a selection of the in-game groups for characters to wear proudly. These include the Freedom Phalanx, the Vindicators, Vanguard, Arachnos, the Paragon Police Department, the Cage Consortium, Circle of Thorns, and the Council. Of course a Costume Change token comes with this reward as well.

• Power: CHOICE: Permanent Nemesis Staff or Permanent Blackwand
• Respec given to all characters on account

Here players get a choice. Player characters can select one of the staves that Nemesis gives his troops, or the awesome Blackwand, as a prestige power. These began as temporary powers players could earn for completing certain missions. Now they can become permanent parts of player characters, like the Ghost Slaying Axe and the Sands of Mu from the 12 month reward.

The Nemesis staff is a steam-powered staff that shoots bolts of energy that deal damage, knock back foes, and may stun them.  Damage: Moderate. Recharge: Long. The Blackwand is a black metal wand that feels cold in the hand, and glows with dark arcane energies.  When used by those skilled in magic (i.e. of Magic origin), it increases the potency of its attacks.  Damage: Moderate.  Recharge: Long.

Veteran Reward respecs can be used by visiting the appropriate character - Jack Wolfe in Galaxy City for heroes, or Arbiter Lupin in Nerva Archipelago for villains.

Supergroup bases will never look the same once players park one of these babies in them! A choice of an Arachnos Flyer or a Longbow Chaser means that a player base will have a unique look to it that only comes with the three year Veteran Reward.

In addition, players get another choice for their characters. This time, they get to choose between five cuddly non-combat pets for each of their characters! That’s right, these little critters are useless in combat, but they look oh-so-cute, and can be the perfect accessory for each of their character concepts. The five pets to select from are a small Demon, a renegade Clockwork, a docile Red Cap, a domesticated Rikti Monkey, and a refurbished Robot.

• Costume Pieces: Boxing Set

At this reward level, players unlock the ability to use boxing set costume items on all of their characters, new and existing. We also give them a single Costume Change token to take care of the cost of changing their outfit.

• Fervent badge
• Bonus Power: Assemble the Team Teleport Power

At this reward level, players unlock a new bonus power, Assemble the Team, on all of their characters, new and existing. This power works like Recall Friend, but affects the entire group at once and has a 30 minute cooldown.

• Eternal Badge
• Respec given to all characters on account

At this reward level, players receive the Eternal badge and a respec to all of the characters on their account.

• Battle Hardened Badge
• Summon Pet Power: CHOICE: Light Fairy, Dark Fairy, Blue Wisp, Red Wisp, Shield Oscillator, Power Oscillator, Shield Drone, or Power Drone.

For the 4 year veteran reward, players receive the Battle Hardened badge and the choice of a Summon Pet Power.

There are 8 different pets the player can choose from.  The Light Fairy, the Dark Fairy, the Blue Wisp, the Red Wisp, the Shield Oscillatory, the Power Oscillator, the Shield Drone, and the Power Drone.  Each gives a specific bonus to you and your team.

• Tried and True Badge
• City of Villains Pre-Order helmets

For the 51 month veteran reward, players receive the Tried and True badge and all of the City of Villains pre-order helmets as costume pieces.
There are 4 helmets the player will receive: Wolfspider Helm, Red Wolfspider Helm, Mu Mystic Helm, and the Crab Spider Helm.

• Allegiant Badge
• 1 power from the following - (Sands of Mu, Ghostslaying Axe, Nemesis Staff, and Blackwand)

For the 54 month veteran reward, players receive the Allegiant badge and will be able to choose an additional power from either the 12 month reward (Sands of Mu and Ghostslaying Axe) or the 33 month reward (Nemesis Staff and Blackwand) that hasn’t already been chosen.
