What’s this ‘Trial code’? Which serial code should I use to create my account?
Both the City of Villains Standard and Collector’s Editions contain a plastic credit card-sized Game Activation Card. On the back of this card, beneath a ‘scratch off’ silver coating, is your retail serial code, which you should use to create your City of Villains account.
Both Editions also contain free complimentary Trial codes for City of Heroes - the Standard Edition contains one Trial code, whereas the Collector’s Edition contains two.
You or a friend can use these codes to try City of Heroes for 14 days, absolutely free of charge - you don’t even need a credit/debit card to sign up.
